Raised in a military family, Kenneth “Jay” DeLouche has called Southwest Louisiana his home for the past 35 years. Jay graduated in 1991 from McNeese State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and a minor in Chemistry. After having worked in the local petrochemical/refining industries as an Environmental Scientist, Jay returned to law school in 2000 and obtained his Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law degrees from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center, in 2003. Since law school, Jay has practiced for the past 21 years in a wide array of areas including, but not limited to, personal injury law, family law, business law, estate law and planning, property law, insurance law, and hurricane disputes. Jay also has a niche’ practice in environmental, pollution, and toxic tort law. Jay has a strong sense of justice and believes in fighting for the rights of his clients regardless of the matter and desires to serve his community in all aspects of his daily life.
Jay has been a Board Member of the Beauregard Regional Airport for approximately the past 10 years, is a past Board Member of the Autism Services of Southwest Louisiana (ASSL) and continues to serve as a committee member for that organization, is the current President of the DeQuincy Chamber of Commerce, and also serves as the City Magistrate for the City of Westlake where he has served for approximately the past 10 years. Jay and his wife, Dedra, are also members of The River Church in Lake Charles and, when not in attendance at The River Church, also attend The Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy.
